Digital Cricut Cartridges

I could see this coming for the past few years, and now that Craftoom is finally live, it is now happening.

Purchasing Cartridges Digitally!

Cricut just announced that as of *right now* you can buy a variety of Cricut cartridges digitally using the Cricut Craft Room. A "simple and easy " purchase.

The question is will you buy a digital cartridge? Can you re-sell a digital cartridge?

What are the Pro's and Con's of digital cartridges?

Please leave a comment and let us know what you think!

Cricut Craft Room Officially Announced

After being initially announced back in Feb 2011. Provocraft has finally worked out all the bugs and problems and Craftroom is now ready.

Craft Room is free to use and will work with Windows and Macintosh PC's. It does require the internet since it is mostly web-based.

It also offers the ability to share and collaborate on projects.

I know many folks have been more than anxiously awaiting the final Craft Room product, so it looks like it is finally here and ready to use.

Expression or Imagine for Jewelry Business

Traci writes:

I’ve been wanting a Cricut for a while.  I’m ready to purchase one but I’m not sure which to buy, the expression or imagine.  I want to use my Cricut mostly for the following things:

-stickers for bags/receipts
-price tags
-business cards
-ring, earring and necklace cards

So I want to be able to cut and print.  I’m sure that as my schedule allows I will use the Cricut for other things but currently, I want to make items I’m spending either alot of time and/or money making myself or paying someone else to make for my jewelry business.

Experienced users and Cricut staff please respond with guidance of which product is best for my needs!

Thanks! Tracie

Any advice for Traci? What would you recommend, the Expression or the Imagine for her desired tasks?
